Website development stages: from idea to launch
What really happens between «I want a website» and «the site is live». 6 stages in plain words, so you know what you pay for.
Many people think building a website is «just drawing some pages». In reality, half the result is set before the first pixel. Let's break the process into stages so you understand what you pay for and where your involvement is critical.
1. Brief and research
We study your business, audience and competitors, and define the site's goal (leads? sales? bookings?). Skip this and a beautiful site may bring no clients at all.
2. Structure and wireframe
We plan which pages are needed and how the user is guided toward action. It's the site's «skeleton» without colours — cheap to change and easy to agree on.
3. Design
We layer the visual style, brand and typography onto the structure. Here the site gets a face — but on an approved «skeleton», so without chaotic reworks.
Service: Websites — we build it turnkey→4. Development
We turn the design into a live site: markup, mobile responsiveness, speed, forms and analytics. We build in technical SEO so Google reads the site correctly from day one.
5. Content and testing
We add copy and photos, test across devices and browsers, and hammer the forms and speed. The site must work equally well on a top iPhone and an old Android.
6. Launch and support
We publish on the domain, connect analytics and Search Console, and watch the first weeks. At RADOBO we don't vanish after launch — we treat the site as our own product and stay close.
