CRM for small business: do you need one and where to start
«We're small, we don't need a CRM» — the most expensive mistake. We show when it pays off even for a team of 2–3.
Small businesses often postpone a CRM «for later»: while there aren't many clients, a notebook and a spreadsheet will do. But it's exactly at this stage that every lost lead costs the most — the flow is still small, and every client is worth their weight in gold.
Signs it's already time
You catch yourself thinking «I think we forgot to call someone back». Leads from Instagram, the website and the phone sit in different places. You can't remember what stage each deal is at. A manager quits — and takes the whole client history with them, in their head. These are all signs the spreadsheet no longer holds up.
Where to start
Not with picking software, but with the process. Map your client journey: where a lead comes from, what stages it passes, who's responsible, how it ends. Once the process is clear on paper, it becomes obvious what the system should do. Often a simple funnel and collecting leads in one place is enough to start.
Service: CRM systems — we build it turnkey→How much it costs
At the start, a ready-made tool with a modest subscription will do. As the business grows and processes become unique, a custom turnkey CRM you won't have to «outgrow» starts to make sense. At RADOBO we advise honestly: if a box is enough for you, we'll say so — and we'll take on a custom build only when it genuinely pays off.
