How to choose a CRM for your business: a step-by-step guide
A ready-made CRM, a box or a custom build? A step-by-step guide to choosing a CRM you won't outgrow.
Choosing a CRM isn't about «which software is best» but about which system describes your processes. The wrong choice is costly: you either pay for features you never use or hit a ceiling in six months. Here's how to choose right.
Step 1: map the process, don't shop for software
First — your client journey: where a lead comes from, what stages it passes, who's responsible, how it ends. Once the process is clear on paper, it becomes obvious what the CRM must do. Without it you're choosing blind.
Step 2: a box or a custom build
A standard funnel and a small team — a ready-made tool is enough. Unique processes, lots of workarounds and spreadsheets next to the CRM — time for a custom build. The rule: while a box saves time, stay; when you fight it more than you work, build your own.
Service: CRM systems — we build it turnkey→Step 3: integrations and data
Check how easily the CRM connects to your website, telephony, email and payments, and whether you can migrate data from an old system. The data must stay yours. Often it's integrations that separate a «contact list» from a system that actually runs sales.
At RADOBO we help you choose honestly: if a ready-made tool is enough, we'll say so — and take on a custom CRM only when it genuinely pays off.
